How has movement affected Tokyo?
what with tokyo being the most populated city in the world, you would expect it to be very culturally diverse. however, tokyo has a population that is a stunning 98% japanese! this must mean that almost no movement of people has occurred here. but, before tokyo was a city, a large migration of people came and displaced the people who were originally inhabited the island of japan. this was probably the only major example of the movement of people in tokyo.
but, in a different way, the movement of people occurs every day all over the city. since tokyo is a major center of , manufacturing and commerce, there have to be many people in many places to keep it all going. people drive, bike, or walk to where they need to be, and that is another example of the movement of people
as was mentioned before, tokyo is a large manufacturing center. it is full of factories and assembly plants going full tilt, and it takes a lot of materials to keep those places going. of course, tokyo has a limited amount of natural resources directly at hand, so it gets the materials fro somewhere else. this is what is called the movement of goods, or trade.
of course, te only reason that tokyo is a large manufacturing center is because someone had the idea for what they should produce there. those ideas had to come from somewhere, because the factories certainly don't just pop out of the ground! this movement of ideas is plainly called the movement of ideas, or ideas spread. actually, the only reason that toko exists is because someone had an idea to make a small town a bit bigger, followed by many people who did the same thing.
